Zoloft Feels like death

I was just recently put on Zoloft for really bad anxiety and Depression. I'm Pregnant and still fighting the alcohol. 2 or three days ago...I can't even keep them straight. I had quite a bit of wine. The next day I started with 25mg of zoloft (Sertraline) and didn't drink much at all. The zoloft made me feel Really sick, and dopey and panic'd along with every feeling we get when withdrawing. I still feel half awake and am vomiting. I don't want to move OR stay still.

Anyone gone through this? I have to work tomorrow and putting them through all this all week long as well as my emotional breakdowns is going to get me fired.

By the way, that first dose is the ONLY one I would take. After this I'm scared of having a heart attack or something. I was still to sick to even call my doctor back today.

I soooo know what you are talking about. Zoloft is a "nervous" drug meaning that it can make you feeli more anxious before you feel better. I found that if I stared with12.5 and then went up in 12.5 increments it was easier. When I went too high I had full on panic attacks. If you can get the dosage right it is awesome! When fear/anxiety starts to grip you it just passes right by. No tightening of the chest or irrational thoughts. If you are having these side effects be sure to talk to your ob!
