    Baclofen newbie freaking out!

    Hi,
This is my first time on a forum, ever. :new:Please excuse me as I am learning the ropes.
I am a 42yr old alcoholic from Auckland, New Zealand.
I have been on Baclofen for 3 weeks. I have now titrated up to 60mgs. My hair is really starting to fall out! I am pretty certain it is the Baclofen. :upset:Has anyone else here had this experience?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
Started on baclofen October 2012. Currently sitting at 150mgs. It's changed my life for the better :goodjob:

Hi Kiss, and welcome to MWO,

Just wanted to welcome you and someone will be able to answer your query.

As a fellow kiwi I can tell you this is a quiet patch in the evening and particularly on Sunday as the northern hemisphere is getting on with the day and will log on later. The Aussies may be around but I am not sure which of them uses baclofen.

If you wanna chat I am here

    KY

Haven't heard of losing hair from baclofen. I've had about every SE known to man from it but I cannot find that listed anywhere.

That doesn't mean it's not happening of course. Might want to look at some supplements like a good Biotin. That helps my wife. I am a proscar guy myself.

You are just on your way up on baclofen. It takes a while to settle down. There will most likely be other bumps in the road but hang in there.

I would suggest the topamax and other meds section on this forum. It's dedicated to baclofen and other meds.

Liquid melatonin is being studied to increase hair growth. It some how stimulates the hair follicles. I'm gonna give it a try and I'll keep ya all posted!
