Hi all,
I think that one of the most powerful tools we have here is chat. It is so under used you can open it in another window and just be available to people who need you....please give it a go.:welcome: people

I didn't see this post until after I was in chat with you, for the same reason you just stated.
Whenever I see 1 person in chat I always try to go in & see if they need any help or just need to chat for a bit.
Hippy~ it doesn't matter what our typing skills are... that can just make it that more fun & funny!

Can you make it just open when you come in or do you have to do it each time? That would be pretty cool...I have never used the chat feature....

If you mean, do we have to log into chat each time, the answer is "yes". There is a feature that the chatroom can be in a pop-up window. I use firefox, so that doesn't work for me. However, I can open up another tab & log into MWO.

Thank you...I was wondering if it might be like FaceBook where you can strike up a chat at the bottom when you see someone's light on. I also wish we had a 'like' button. B

I used to use it all the time.. I just updated the Java and was in there the last 2 nights on me Tod!!
Never mind I tested all the sounds( very infantile but great fun!) and had a bit of a laugh

Interesting how the CHAT Cave daily flow goes given all of our differing places on this planet.

During MY evening in Alaska (here at the near-end of the Time Zone map in the US)...I see all of you Down Under and far east types like my buddy Willowfrond and Patrice (good to see both of you posting again on MWO!) There are also a few west coasters like Det and Nora and a few hardy east coasters like Caysea, too, who are burning the midnight oil. And, of course...there's dear SOL from SA whose day is just starting as mine is ending.

It's a lovely community. Thanks for the heads up on letting more folks know about chat, Willow. I hope to see more of you there....it's a lot of fun to get to know each other better in real time!

FYI MAC users....the recent java security updates don't work with google chrome. However, I did manage to download the update and am running it on Firefox just fine. If you need the new java plugins...you'll see a small alert on your screen. Get it...and you'll be good to go.
