    trying to stop.

hadit, thanks for clarifying that. I knew a guy years ago that was forced to take that by the Navy and could drink anyway. Turned beet red but continued to slam them. From what you describe that would be a determined drinker indeed!

      trying to stop.

Very Serious Drinkers!!!. My brother was in the Navy and yep those boys could drink BIG TIME. He would have a half doz cans before breakfast. Drinking on AB has been known to kill!!! Cheers

        Wow hadit:
A person really has to be determined to drink on Ab. No, I already told our friends that I have stopped drinking. I am going to be a determined Nondrinker. It is great to hear from you to know that we are not alone.

Determined or just TOTALLY addicted to this drug!!! I am hoping I have learnt from my experience drinking when taking AB so that this time I can beat the beast! Day 2 on AB.

              trying to stop.

It's been a trying day. I am so tired. We still are going to the country party. I am at low ebb. I'm posting to keep myself strong. I need strength tonight. Wish me the best. :nutso:

I've been reading Allen Carr's book this weekend. It explains a lot. It really helped me through a couple of tough spots this weekend. It was a challenge being around all of that alcohol and the people who kept offering me beers. But I did make it through to the other side. :goodjob:

                  trying to stop.

First of all, very cute pic.
Secondly, gawd how I understand. All my neighbors do is drink and invite me over. Only I have chosen to quit, it's getting out of hand. And I do believe that pets/children/hobbies are a must and a great help.
Whenever I have my 2-yr old niece over, I don't even reach for the bottle. Am on watch.

                    trying to stop.

Had a rough night of it. I thought about having a beer all day today. We're going camping this holiday weekend and that is usually a time when I drink the most. Hubby is already trying to talk me into having a few so he can drink in the open and get buzzed. I know better. I will not drink alcohol this weekend. I must hold onto my quit. This is the most important thing in my life right now.
