    The realization

I am in deep trouble. So deep that it seems almost endless. I never thought I would tell it to complete strangers, but after five days of heavy drinking, I must admit that if I will not quite drinking, the drinking will quit me.

I am 33 and I have been a heavy drinker for the past 14 years. I am starting to have serious problems at job, with friends and family, with health ...

I am sitting at home, shaking, sweating, tired, but unable to sleep ... I want to get out, guys, and with help from you and God, I hope to NEVER drink again.

So, I intend to quit drinking now. Wish me luck.

I hope to NEVER drink again

Please change this asap, to I WILL never drink again.

Always good to get off on a good start.

If I can do this anyone can.

Ps Read the Jason Vale Book, kick the drink.

Fisher you can use this as your own accountabilityt thread or as a way to look back on your first days and reflect.

I've been away a lot lately and missed a lot, but I wanted to welcome you and to say a plan is really important. Have you removed all the booze from your house? Do you have enough delicious alternative drinks? Snacks?

Is there anyone you trust enough to tell?

Can you avoid social situations that involve drinking for a little while?

Can you devise an answer to the question when someone offers your drink?

Stick close we're all here to help!
