I've had an alcohol problem for a long time. I was wondering if it's a red flag if you start getting nausea and cold sweats after only 2 drinks? This has been happening to me occasionally for the past 2 months.

I am sorry you are feeling like this. I rarely get sick on AL, my body has grown so accustomed. When did you last drink? I know if I have a binge my body tends to react like that, it's horrible. Your body is telling you to put the AL down. Can you do that? :l

Actually I remember the last time I threw up. I had been sober for almost three months. I felt fantastic. It was two weeks ago tonight I came to the absolute end of my last binge, triggered by nothing in particular. I still had it in my head that I wasn't really an alkie, that I had a rough year, and that my 'almost' three months proved I could be in control.

The last thing I remember from that nasty little episode is drinking a glass of red wine and throwing it immediately back up again.

I have to accept now that I am an alcoholic, I am not in control. I have been off
work for three weeks, one week drinking and two weeks recovering. My life is not my own if I drink.

I had 2, got flushed and threw up, face flushed and I broke blood vessels around my eyes from throwing up so bad. Then I felt better, and like an idiot, I drank 2 more, got even sicker. I dumped the last one (it was a 6 pack.) If I didn't dump it, I would have drank it. Drinking is effecting my health. I need help

Hi I think you might have pancreas issues - throwing up violently is one of the symptoms - please check it out - if you will not stop drinking you might get pancreatitis - this will send you to the hospital with very bad pain. This is what happened with my husband

Are you taking any medication that could be having an adverse effect? The only thing to do is quit drinking. I'm proud of you for dumping out the last two :l
