    Dying inside......

Moon, you have also been in my thoughts. When I was drinking on the same meds, it was easier for me to wean off the pills and to keep drinking, since I knew I had to "pick one". PLEASE get with your doctor and get some medical help-

The other "issues" are going to be there tomorrow, whether you have something to drink or not. The question, my friend, is if you have the courage to face them? Hiding in a bottle won't help.

We are here if you need us. :groupluv: Patty

      Hi Moon,
How are you doing? Going through a bit of the same myself, understand completely how you are feeling. Glad your here and routing for you. Can lend an ear if you need but I am new here too and have no answers for you as I haven?t found them myself. Hoping your feeling a bit better.

          Dying inside......

Thinking of you as well Moon, I have been drinking a lot lately also at dangerous amounts. Just remember, we all make mistakes and the fact that you feel such guilt shows that you have a kind, honest, heart. Believe me I am seeing for myself now not everyone feels such remorse, please don't keep beating yourself up. And as others have said try getting rid of the pills. I also was on anti-depressants for a time and was unaware how serious the side effects were to combine them with alcohol. When I began to forget conversations with people I got off them immediately.

            Dying inside......

Hi all and thanks for your kindness, the "incident" is fading with the passage of time however my drinking is still at levels way too high, thankfully working now is stopping me from going overboard but still daily drinking and weekend binging even tho I know how dangerous it is to drink on anti depressants ( it made my dad v sick eventually) yet a bottle of whiskey or more seems to be the norm every weekend it's so hard to stop what has been " normal" to me for over 30 years now but I do see changes, the levels are slowly creeping up and blackouts a constant occurrence, I am scared for my health
