IJM, phew, another day done! Good job!
We are helping each other.....I may feel strong one day and be able to reach out to someone....it can literally be hours, a day, a few days later, that I find myself in the same state, needing help.
Reading and knowing how you got through last night not only helps you but gives others strength to go on.
    We are in this together!

      Hi Guys,
How you all doing? It’s awesome that you have both stayed strong and not given in to the triggers. It’s what it wants! By staying strong and doing something else to get through the cravings is brilliant. Nothing beats the feeling of waking up sober. You got through yesterday, you can get through today. Whatever the day is going throw at you, you can face it head on with no fuzzy thinking!

I had to make changes to my thinking, it was the only way to get different outcomes.
When I am super stressed (which is constant with work at the mo) I run through all the scenarios of how much crappier the day would have been had I been drinking. (I had to start my day with vodka).

Just keep doing what you’re doing; stay focused on the feeling of utter smugness knowing you are beating this thing. Hang in there, it just keeps getting better. Don’t give in! How many times can we keep vowing never again?

Let us know how you are doing, keep strong :goodjob:
