Feeling good about things. Saw a guy with a wine cask today and for a moment felt envious that he was probably going to get drunk and the old feelings came back momentarily. But I was able to get online and discuss the feelings. I also used a technique from Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy to examine what happened. What that excercise showed me was that a thought does not inevitably have to become an action, I have a choice. I chose not to drink.
Lifes too good to waste time and money on getting drunk, it's just not woth it.
