Byrd- all good points- Mad Men is a good examination of the cultural hypocrises and absurdities of the time period, some of which seem antiquated and some of which we still practice today, such as the hypocitical attitude towards alcoholics... In some ways, the character of Duck, the severe alcoholic, is one of the more brave characters- he eventually faces his problem as best he can.Comment
