          I finally figured out how to find this thread and how to post. Congrats, Lav, on 2000 days!
          My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

              The avatars seem to be visible at times. RJ is aware & said they are still working on that & other issues. Rome wasn't built in a day so I guess we can be patient :H

                Lav, 2001 days and a great new site to celebrate an awesome achievement! Thank you from the bottom of my heart - without you and LadyByrd I would never ever have made it.

                  Working my way through the new look. Hope everyone is well and had a great summer. I am happy to report that I've sort of stopped counting my AF days but I haven't stopped reminding myself of how different I feel and how slimy al is.

                    I have had a big & happy grin on my face the past few days
                    This whole AF SF life seems perfectly normal to me now. I had no idea what is was like being an adult free of addictions. Grateful I jumped in with both feet

                    3June, nice to see you, glad you are doing well.
                    Use the date & time calculator once in a while to see how far you've come. It's an easy way to give yourself a pat on the back

                      Way to go, Lav. Thanks from the bottom of my heart as well. I love the image of you walking around with a great big grin - I see Stella with a smilie face.

                      El - I got very flat for a while - I think NoSugar has a post about the In Between (was it from you FlyAway?). The now whats. The really, forevers. I totally went with the fake it til you make it advice. Just kept plugging away here and doing what successful sober people did. Lo and behold, around the middle of month 7 I started feeling MUCH better.

                      3June - So glad you checked in. Glad you're doing so well. I like the pat on the back, too. I count months now, but I do check in every Sunday because I'm a counter by nature.

                      Glad we're all still here, Abbers. Great to be SOBER!

                              Hopefully, I will get a system down with the new format like I had with the old one. I COULD just list the threads that I subscribe to, but then I would totally miss new people when they came in (and I like getting ahold of fresh talent!) ehehehehe..... I hope my PM's reappear soon, I had some really good stuff in there. Also, my signature line with the links in it....I can't tell you the times that helped ME get to the Tool Box or the NN!!!! Glad to be here, tho!!!

                                listen to you two, anyone would think you were ostracised. Ok i am going back in my box now but it was lovely to have our 100 email exchange today. Glad it is all sorted and i can sleep knowing nn is being guarded and is now secure. No more naughty schoolies trying to get past your eyes. Long live the queen is all i will say! xx
