You had a pretty good turn out for a rainy Halloween 3June :H
I handed out candy at my son's house while they took the kids around the neighborhood. I didn't do a head count but the big basket of candy was emptied rather quickly!

I had a strange dream last night, probably due to going to a wedding. I dreamt I was a a party with a bottle of gin, making drinks for other people. I took the bottle, turned it up and was swishing the gin around in my mouth. I suddenly realized what was doing and spit it out, consoled by the fact I didn't drink it. Then woke up. Strange thing is that I never drank gin.

3J, 5 months AND senior status...does it get any bedda dan dat? eheheh...you are such an inspiration around here! Everyone just loves you, AND happy birthday! Gosh, you are raking in all sorts of accolades! I'm sorry I missed your actual day...hope it was a good one. I've had 3 sober ones now and I'm here to say, they get better each time! The last couple years I drank I wasn't getting hangovers...but I simply couldn't remember anything from the night before....what an awful way to live. The freedom now from the THOUGHTS/compulsion of drinking it, the chore of getting it, the guilt of doing it, and the shame it all is just something that is hard to describe! I am so happy for you! It truly IS the best gift we can give ourselves!!
I guess the next big thing around here is our Thanksgiving! The holidays are upon us!

another pretty fall day behind us, hopefully more on the way. A little brisk here but I'm not complaining. Good get outside and get something done weather. Tomorrow hope to start working on a fence that I haven't figure out why any respectable livestock hasn't walked through and escaped! I have some copies of photos I guess were taken here in the early 1900's. There's not a stick of wood anywhere. You can see the rail fence where now is all grown up and area I'm speaking of repairing. I found traces of the rail fence yesterday, about 10-15 feet off the fence line of today.
