That's the way I look at it too Byrdie... I've invested way too much time & effort into my recovery to ever let something ruin it. Personally, I don't think I have another quit in me... and that's why I keep mine well protected & nurtured.

I used Weight Watchers online for a while with fairly good results BUT I think they were feeding me too much More likely it was my aging metabolism that caused my slow weight loss & plateau. I gained 13 lbs when I quit smoking & that had to go!!

One thing I would advise: DO NOT try to lose weight & quit smoking at the same time. That combo would drive anyone nutz!!!!!!:H:H

I wouldn't give up my quits now for all the money in the world - no kidding!
QuitNet uses the acronym NOPE. Not One Puff Ever & I am a big believer.

Okay peeps, I quit smoking AGAIN. No big announcements anywhere else...seeing that I've quit about 17 times now.

Back to the gym tonight...I have been slacking off in every possible way....

oh p.s. My boss just told me my face looks swollen. I thought "Gee thanks" considering I wasn't even really sick. She's a "quiet bitch"....she gets her little digs in where she can. It just so happens that an Office Staff Assistant position has opened up in the Police Department. Now you Oldbies will know that I have an insane obsession with everything criminal related. May have something to do with my time in the pokey with my cellmate Diablo...I dunno.

I have applied to be a 911 Dispatcher (passed the test!), Jailer (made it to #2 in selection process), Community Services Officer (again #2 in the process) and now...now FINALLY an office position has opened up at the Police Department. Imagine all the juicy stuff I could see! We all know the "secretary" is the hub of any department. So I say bring on the drama! LOL I gotta get this one...if they don't hire me, I guess I will take the hint that the Chief and Captains just don't want me. Lord knows they KNOW me by now!!!

It's a beautiful day here in NC! My niece and her new boyfriend are coming to visit this weekend, so I'm having to clean up! These windows are so dirty they have an R Value! She is so quiet (24 years old) it's kind of weird. She says her bf is quiet too, so not sure what will be on the agenda for them! We'll figure something out! I can't wait to meet him!
