Hey All!
Sorry you are bitchy, Dot Bell. Life sometimes gets a little flat. Just the way it is....but I bet that a flat day now is 1000 times better than a day drinking! If we could plot our progress on a chart, I bet we would amaze ourselves. You ARE doing really well...we all have flat spots now and then. I hope you perk up soon! XO, B

Dottie it is so great to see you here! Sorry that I haven't been here much lately.
I was reading about the Christmas Cards. I have some really cute ones. Doggie pics in costumes. My older beagle Pip actually participated this year and there are several pleasant ones of her. Usually she justs looks grumpy and lays down.
I would love to see the snow. But just briefly.
Have a great evening all.No matter how far you go or how fast you run, you can't get away from yourself. ....said at an AA meeting. It stuck with me.

a how do all
kinda messy day here in ol Virginny, snowy rainy mess. It was a perfect day for burning a bush pile. You get to stay warm while stoking the fire. When I was a kid, in our unthoughtful non environmental friendly way, when it snowed, we'd burn tires and sleigh ride through them. As my fiddle teacher told her husband one day, it is a wonder the male species isn't extinct.Liberated 5/11/2013

Dottie, what's going on with your husband? Is he a bit older? He's starting to sound kind of helpless or is it just laziness?
Don't drink over his behavior. I gave up driving over YB's behavior nearly 5 years & am one grateful personAF since 03/26/09

Lav dh is 16 years older and getting more lazy by the day. He naps a lot and sits at the computer. Asks when dinner is etc....My smart mouth has explained that his arms aren't broken and he is NOT helpless so he can make dinner...I have very little patience with this crap. I will get the room cleaned on my terms and in my time...
Nope not going to drink over it but have had some chocolate.

:H :H Dottie!
I have used the same 'your arms aren't broken' reasoning with husband, kids & even a few patients over the years. I actually learned that phrase from my Mom
Laziness is a big turn-off for me! Start putting things just 'slightly' out of his reach, sounds like he could benefit from a little mild exercise!AF since 03/26/09

LB, my Mom was a nurse too :H
WW II era nurses held no hostages :H :H
The funny thing is I ended up working rehab during the last part of my career. It was my job to motivate people (post-op hip, knee replacements mostly) to get moving & do things for themselves.
I have seen some seriously lazy people in my timeAF since 03/26/09
