pleasant evening with the fam... ex wife came by to wish us a merry xmas. Everyone enjoyed their toddies and I had a tall glass of cold water. And that was it. No one trashed and it remained a good evening. As it should be. Glad xmas can be cheerful without the liquid cheer!

Byrdie and Lav, it's a simple almond butter cookie, sliced almond ears and licorice tail. You put on the tail right after they come out of the oven. The decorating gel makes great beady little eyes. You can put a few chocolate sprinkles on the plate if you want the appearance of mouse droppings!

Merry Christmas all,
I am doing nothing much. Made some rice with chicken for the doggies treat, tea for me, filled my water infuser with lemon and lime for today..so just being a bum and that is OK with me.
116 days ago I would have never thought this would be an AF Christmas....such an amazing thing to me...and a very, very good thing...

Merry Christmas! Just finished one soiree next door (where everyone was drinking mimosas and bloody Mary's). I had a wonderful time with my diet coke! I am stuffed with food! And I have another function to go to at 5. I'm sure everyone will be drinking there, too, but that doesn't bother me at all. I will go and enjoy the fellowship and not worry about overdoing anything but the pie!
