NS congratulations on your year. You were in my shoes when I started. I'm looking forward to hitting that 1 year milestone. It is getting easier. I have issues with PAWS but those episodes are becoming fewer and not as intense. The holidays were tough. Getting through the parties without a drink despite the availability and peer pressure involved was extremely satisfying. I'm also coming to terms with the permanency of an AF life. It really is just a drink, and a poisonous one at that. I have also noticed how steeped our culture is in the use and abuse of alcohol. It is everywhere, on Tv, books, radio, movies, work, social occasions, family gatherings, everywhere, and all the time. Funny I didn't really notice when I was drinking.

My husband used to rattle the wall between the bedroom & living room Sam - I know what you're dealing with - sorry
I sent him for a sleep study 10 years ago. He was borderline for sleep apnea but was told to lose weight to stop the snoring. He didn't lose any, gained even more & is now living on his own - his choice :H
Now I'm wondering if there's a Breathe Right nasal strip large enough to fit on my Greater Swiss Mountain dog's face :H

I'm told that I used to snore like a chainsaw when I was drinking. My wife is sure glad that's gone!

We are getting a little reprieve from the cold, mostly twenties and warm sun. I heard tons of birds this morning walking the pup and it feels like spring will come some day!

Hi, Pinecone! I sure miss talking to you. I sure wish UN would come back and get us going again - that was a great thread. Maybe we need to step it up here .
