            Thanks friends. I enjoyed a gardening conference today. Sadly, our vacation flight to Vegas was cancelled for tomorrow. We have a reservation for Monday but the weather report doesn't look good.
            My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

              Wow, look at the milestones going on right here!! Big numbers eva'body!!! I've given out so many prizes over on roll call that the prize closet is nearly bare! Its a great problem to have! Lav, you must be beside yourself going on 5 years! Great job everyone! This is a wonderful place in life to be! Over the hump and maintaining the course! B

                  Yeah, we have been rescheduled for tomorrow, but it's a mess out there, I don't expect to leave before Tuesday.

                          Still sitting home for a second day of what should have been vacation. We've spent a huge amount of time on the phone to Travelocity, just to change our arrival date. It's a pre-paid package but sheesh, if you don't show up on your arrival date they don't expect you at all. When a live person finally comes on the line, they ask you the same questions then put you on hold or transfer you. Very frustrating. Hopefully we will actually leave tomorrow.

                            Sorry about the travel issues Sunbeam. That's frustrating when all you want to do is get away for a little while and circumstances beyond your control are preventing that from happening. Hopefully you can leave soon!

                            Byrdie! I never had anyone write a poem for me before! Thangyuh, thangyuh vurry mudge!

                            No snow for us where I am in Jersey. Based on radio reports, it sounds like we were north of the snow line and missed the snow entirely. Kind of nice actually, as I didn't have to shovel, and the traffic was lighter, and the office is emptier, than usual.

                              Hi Elvis! It looks like our flight will actually leave tomorrow, so we are getting excited again. We will visit some beautiful areas, including a small piece of Death Valley National Park. They just had some rain, so we may see some desert blooms.
