I've been busy with family visiting here, then us going there to visit more family.

Hey all!
My big project this weekend is sorting thru photos! I have drawers full of pictures and I'm just tired of them being in such disarray! I bought photo boxes and I'm at least going to sort them into decades! I even downloaded my ipad pictures to Walgreens and got those printed! I'm going to be an organizing fool (I hope!)

Otherwise all is well. Hubs and I are celebrating our 28 year anniversary tomorrow. I feel so lucky that I got a second chance with him. 4.5 years ago, I was in full DAMAGE CONTROL. I just hate that it got to that point, I could have saved myself a lot of despair, but we live and learn. I've learned!

He Birdie, I love those photo boxes. The albums are just HUGE and cumbersome. Just make sure you write on the backs in some manner, because it is easy for people to mix them up after all your sorting efforts.

Sunbeam, I just finished sorting over 55 years of pictures! Holy Moly, that was a JOB. I DID take the time to write on the backs, I am so glad I did now that you tell me they can get mixed up!! 5 boxes full, I think I will grab another one so they arent so tight. I am glad to have that done, its a job thats been looming for as long as I can remember!

I hope you're finding what you're searching for.
For me, the MindPeace that Byrdie writes about is the greatest treasure - no internal conflicts about what I'm going to do or berating myself later for what I did.

Now my photo mess is on my mind, Byrdie and that does not fit in a peaceful mind!! Congratulations on tackling and finishing that project!

Hey gang! Good to see everyone is still here and going strong! I'm doing well, more than 2 years AF now and all due to you, this site, your support. I had a little shock the other night when i opened the fridge and a bottle of beer was calling me. I think it had been left behind after a party. I had a fleeting moment where I thought, why not? I'm cured now, right? Then the sane voice said WTF I thought I was over this! Apparently we are never truly immune. Anyway I asked hubby to take it away and that was that. Ever vigilant.
