1 year AF today
I just wanted to come on here and say a massive thank you to all you lovely people! I have a look at all your encouraging posts and they have really inspired me! I drank 3 bottles of wine a day and I don't know how I functioned! I walked into an AA meeting and it was the scarest thing I ever did but by far the best! I also managed to quit smoking too because I could not do one without the other! I work full time and have two kids, one with autism so it is easier to come on here than get to meetings. I am so much happier and grateful to be sober everyday. Thank God for MWO :thanks:Sober since 18/02/13Tags: None

Great work, Poppy. You are worth the effort, and your kids deserve the real you.My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.
