Hey S.O. & Lila,

well, my understanding of the Chakra system is that there are these 7 energy centers in our bodies. Basically what we want is for all 7 energy centers to be (1) Open and (2) Balanced. Balanced would means neither Under-active nor Over-active. Balance is the key with the system of Yoga, which the Chakra system is a part of. Let's call it an ancient Indian way of diagnosing the 'health' of your energy levels.

No need to be worried at all S.O. Energy levels change as we go through life and experience different things.. so it's a work in progress... the aim being to find a Balance with all 7 Chakras being Open (neither Under nor Over) and that's good. This would, simply put, mean that you have harnessed the energies of the Universe and the world around you in a positive way and that your body and mind and spirit are all synchronized and in harmony with your own being, and the universe around you.

Easier said than done. Apparently I'm over-active with 2 of my chakras, which, after reading what that means, makes sense to me currently...

Cheers guys. There are some hand postures in the site that help to align your energy centers. Also this is a holistic healing approach, so Opening chakras means eating right, sleeping right, moderation in everything, thinking well (but not too much), etc etc... down to posture, sitting up straight, keeping one's back straight so that energy can flow through your body properly... breathing deep and well.

Oh blimey Zed, think I have just realised why i am out of balance...Currently am messing up on each of these "Opening chakras means eating right, sleeping right, moderation in everything, thinking well (but not too much), etc etc... down to posture, sitting up straight, keeping one's back straight so that energy can flow through your body properly... breathing deep and well."
Right, I know I can at least sit up straight....so here goes...

For me, already knowing about the chakra system going into the test. I thought about specific things going on in my life right now that are affecting my results. I answered truthfully for my life situation today and must say I was surprised at some of the results.

Our results, as zed has already pointed out will change from day to day and throughout our lives. For example, I know about some things that I have been specifically working on that has my hear chakra open more than it would have been a year ago. I would not have guessed though that I would have any lower than 0 though. I just see it as I still some areas to work on. But it's ok, I've been going through a lot.

I think I'm OK on the other things, but I know I can't sit up straight because of my significant spinal curve. They fused my spine and attached a rod when I was 12 years old....Ah well, we've all got something to bear.
