    Focus on Fitness for March/AF Days

    Eve you described me to a tee. I am the exact same way. 2 I'm fine, 3 I feel it and I never know if I will want more or be satisfied with 2. I had 3 last night. Not good because it was a Monday. I know I did it because I had some Sunday and wanted to carry it through another day. I don't like when I do that and I need to be content with just weekend drinking. I do feel accountable here though as well and it has helped me so much being here. I am far more careful these days so I guess that is a good thing. Missed my workout 2 days in a row. Woke with a cramp in my leg last night and I could barely stand on it this morning so I decided to skip the gym. I know it happened because I don't drink water. I hate water when its cold but I was dehydrated and that's why I got the cramp. Definitely will be at the gym tomorrow. Wishing I could get a little more self control.

      hi all
      TMH, not terrible on the modding. I go to bed early just so the day is done. I hate that. I want to be excited about life, but I guess my way of handling stress has been to zone out and then go to sleep. I have not worked out in weeks.
      MM, you are right, life has ups and downs! I am actually not too bad, just that something in my life is up in the air right now and I worry.
      Eve, you sound really great, modding and working out. I think 2 is okay, 3 too many as well.
      My kids are off this week, and then I have a break next week, which is great, since I will get some nice alone time, get things done around the house, etc.
      Weather is beautiful, plants in my yard are budding. Love it!

        Lila,
        I continue to hate the craving struggle though. Made tonight our Friday night to celebrate the completion of my online research/writing for my school program for my Masters... now I have to intern under someone for 16 weeks. Had 2 drinks, came home and CRAVED another. Absolutely will not go there but I hate that internal battle. It will pass as I sit and type here and do other things to keep busy. Just get so angry that life dealt me this challenge though as hubby (total non-drinking problem) is perfectly satisfied and has absolutely NO desire for a third. Life just isn't fair sometimes!!! My advice when wanting to cave...procrastinate...wait it out...make a nice non-al drink (which I will do right now). So, am I ok with my modding? Not really. People with problems, have problems. I just choose the battle because I enjoy two fine glasses of wine here and there.
        Off to make a seltzer drink.

          Hello everyone!
          Its been a looong time since I last posted but I never forgot this site. Alot has happened to me since then. I met a new man in October and I am now engaged!!

          As for my drinking I am still practising moderation..no AL during weekdays. But I have been drinking like a demon on the weekends so I need to curb the amount down again.

          Hope everyone is well.

            Well welcome back, Rebirth, and a big congratulations! When's the wedding? Am so happy for you.
            Good job on staying AF during the week.

            Yest I did a bunch of upper & lower body exercises, then walked 3 miles, then biked 5 miles. Today I got up early, did LB exercises, walked 2 miles, 120 situps and stretched and will be playing golf this afternoon. I don't really feel like doing the normal Friday Happy Hour thing today. Possibly because on Wed. we participated in Fab 50's golf, dinner & dance. Already had the big night out this week.

              omg, i just wrote something long, and accidentally clicked an arrow, and now it is all gone!
              rebirth, so good to hear from you. you look good! i would love to hear about everything if you want to catch up.
              tmh, i wonder about fatigue. i wonder how much alcohol contributes...good you are still working out. i need to get back to it. when i am down, i tend to be at home a lot, and then getting back on track is more of an effort.
              eve, i know, i know! staying busy is a big help for me as well. you sound so intentional. i may go get some seltzer as well. i bough peach juice at trader joes - that would be good with bubbles!
              mm, did you go to the gym today? i want to get back to it. you miss a few days, and suddenly the habit takes more effort. i totally understand wanting to carry things through.
              well, i have a week of relative leisure coming up. i want to use it to get back into a very good place.
