    D - My sis had her baby in NICU for some time and they felt exactly the same. Can not imagine taking care of two new babies, let alone at once

    My only child is headed off to college in August and I worry I may suffer empty nest and decide to start all over again - definitely young enough still seeing as I had him at 16....

    Thanks for the support I am not dwelling at ALL the instant I woke up I told myself that last night was just a reminder of what I do NOT want to do anymore and I will embrace this reminder and it will make me stronger.

    LG - do you work 4 10 hours shifts? What book are you reading?

        LOL...I just counted days, and realized that I'm cheating myself! Today is day 18 AF!!! 17 are under my belt, 30 doesn't seem that far away any more!

        Vliv...my youngest is starting her Senior year of HS. She's SOOO excited to have her brothers, and fell instantly in love with them!

              Hello Hello, today is just dragging for me. Got plenty to do at work just no motivation and I know why............. Looking forward to getting home, getting outta work close, maybe taking a quick cat nap and fixing dinner, want a nice relaxing evening with hubby. Definitely no liquor tonight OR EVER AGAIN I HOPE - but may have a lite beer or two and the neighbor is not coming over - I actually shot her a text and said we were glad she came for dinner but next time leave the liquor at home (in so many words).

              Having zero problems fighting off the urge to stop at the store today, so far, lets see if they creep up on ride home, they did yesterday and I almost gave in but didn't then I blew it with neighbor. NOT TONIGHT!

              Hope everyone else is having a good day......

                Bloody neighbours hey Vliven!!!!! You can't escape them, I have one that comes down on the weekends and is very destructive when it comes to my modding plans. So annoying.

                I plan to start AF on July 28th when I go to visit my mother interstate (her husband has just passed away) she's a teetotaller, so hardly a drop of AL in the house.

                Hopefully won't be too much of a drama.
                Time to whip AL's Ass :b&d:

                  Thanx trix Sorry about your moms husband doesn't make for a very pleasant visit.... Made it home safe again, that liquor store ain't got nuttin on me now..... Well need to spend next 20m trying to cool down from long drive home in crazy desert heat!

                      Vliven, I'm glad you made it past the liquor store without stopping. Here's an inspiration: I haven't been to the liquor store since February!! I haven't had hard liquor in 5 months, as of yesterday.:goodjob: me!

                      D, I hope your babies are home soon, safe and sound.:l So glad to see you back, checking in, although I know your life is quite busy right now! Great job on 18 days!!!!!

                      Trixie, are you going AF for an extended period, or just while visiting your mom? I'm just curious.

                      Oh, I'm reading, "The Univited Guests", by Sadie....somethingorother, lol. Can't be arsed to get up and look. It's kinda wacky. I recently read a pretty good book that I also wrote a review for, for a magazine, and I posted my review on "What We're Reading" (on this site). Check it out, if you like.

                      Chilling...not drinking. Have a headache and I'm tired, but nothing terrible.

                          Hubby's home starting dinner 3 cheese tortellini and garlic bread yum!
                          Anyone watch any TV series... Hubby and I hooked on Breaking Bad and Sons of Anaechy and just started The Riches!!!!! Just out back gor a smoke and was bored thought I'd ask

                            We watch Sons of Anarchy. Haven't gotten into Breaking Bad. Is that the one with the guy who sells crack? I tried to watch it, but Netflix started the series on the third episode and I was kinda turned off by it. What's the Riches? Something I might like? I need to kind something new. I recommend The Killing! First season is on Netflix. Addictive.

                              Breaking bad is the chemistry teacher family guy who discovers he has cancer and decides to manufacture and sell meth to pay hospital bills and leave something for his family. The first 10m of the first episode are the best it hooked us instantly.....

                              The Riches is a family of gypsies that decides to squat in a millionaire community.... Liking it alot so far.

                                The Killing is about the murder of a young girl (17 yo) and all the drama that ensues afterward. The entire series is about that one murder. You get into the lives of the detectives, the girl's family, extended family and even politicians who are somehow connected. I watched the entire first season in two days, lol. I was hooked!

                                I'll check out The Riches. Might give Breaking Bad another chance...dunno. The first episode they have on Netflix is about the aftermath of killing some people apparently and they are cleaning up the basement (yuck)...didn't make sense and wasn't appealing to me. I know lots of people who like it though.
