Hi, All,

Hope everyone is doing well. This thread is very quiet today.....not much since my last post.

The boys had a pediatrician's visit today, and for the most part are very healthy. One has a little personal issue that we'll need to get checked out by a specialist, but nothing too serious. Their growth has been incredible, they've now more than doubled their birth weights in just 10 weeks! The couple of vaccines they've had today were a bit upsetting, as they screamed and hollered from the two shots like never before! One was sleeping a few minutes later, though, the other (who's usually very sensitive) was still howling for about 10 minutes!

Work stinks! We have a big industry conference in three weeks, and I have to give a presentation, the first draft of which I have to present to my peers tomorrow. Not exactly ready, but should be able to work on it tonight after cards and in the AM before the 10 o'clock online meeting. I'll get through ok, and the boss promises not to be too rough on me, but it's a drag that I have to self teach (most of which I've done) and then create this presentation on my own, only to be critiqued by colleagues that have done this for years!

TMH, I wonder if you miss the cool nights from your trip up North? Doubt it!
V, how's the week going? Did you go AF a couple of days, or just sticking to the no hard stuff?
DG, hope life is good...

hi all - sorry I haven't been around. I have been tired a lot. I have ordered some vitamins, etc, and hope I start feeling better.
I am forgetting to take my supps. Seems like I always say that. But I am hopeful. This weekend, I am going to find a pillbox, and really get organized. And start over, again. TMH, really inspirational how you are always getting your exercise!
Dave, glad to hear how well your babies are doing. Sounds like they are really getting great care, two loving parents!
FF, yes, I celebrate the middle of the week, just one more day to go!

absolutely what LG said, no pressure. It helps me to be more motivated with my af days, but it's not a competition or anything, we're just trying to encourage each other with it, no matter how many days you want to do each week, so there's no rules or expectations at all.

Good morning everyone! Not sure if I am up early or up late its about 3:30 Saturday morning, I feel asleep on couch real early after a VERY long work week..... Got home around 4 to a hubby who had they day off and had had a few beers and a shot from his rum bottle from last week..... I had two beers and he was taunting me to do a shot and I had ZERO problems saying no way hun not interested.... We ordered some pizza and I fell asleep watching Robin Hood

D- hope all is ok with the little one and that work takes a turn for the better real soon

LG- you happy with presentation and ready for trip?

Lila- good to see you are here and have a plan to get back on track

TMH- hope you are home safe and caught up with the dreaded vacation laundry

DG- how are you? You are so considerate with everyone else we rarely hear how YOU are

FF- how was your Friday? Haven't seen much from you on this post....I hate bill pay time!!!! I recently tasked that to hubby now I can't spend to much on clothes or I will surely hear about it

Feeling really good about where I am with my moderation..... Feeling fantastic that the rum in the house for a week has not spoken a word to me even with my hubby's taunts.... Won't let myself get too confident but really just feel at this moment I am over it.... That crap made me soooo sick for so long and the desire is just not there (for now)

Good day everyone. Started to say good morning, as I am still recovering lol. Found that elusive wine I'd been searching for yesterday, and unfortunately the new vintage is not nearly as good. I still tried to hang in there, lol...found out it does have the same effect, however.

Good job on resisting the rum, V. That's really admirable. I'm not sure that I could, and thankfully don't have to be tempted. The last rum I bought (and drank about a third of), was promptly emptied the next day. Devil juice!!:H

Had an appointment to get my oil changed this morning, which I cancelled, lol. Felt sooo good yesterday after 5 days AF, what a difference a day makes (and a night NOT AF). Makes me look forward to more AF days...

P.S. Yes, V, I am happy with my presentation and looking forward to going to the conference (and being done with it, lol).

V, I'm doing good, I think I'm in this weird place right now where spending so much time sober/not hungover is still hard to grasp. On the one hand I feel great, on the other it still feels so new that I'm not sure what to make of it, it's like living in someone else's body or something
