    Sounds as if we are ALL in a better place than maybe we were a while back!

    DG, congrats on holding out & sticking to your plan...and thanks for your kind words.
    TMH, it sounds as if you are having a really nice time up north...I'm so glad for you, especially as the visit for the funeral of your other brother was such a sad time, before.
    And, LG, I had to giggle when you likened the wine to vinegar...reminds me of some of the imagery Supercrew says he used to change his thinking about AL! (Thanks, Supercrew! and, of course, MWO and the generosity of all who post here.)

      Oh, it wasn't an analogy FF, it was the truth! Haha, it had sat with a cork in the bottle for a week, and it was fairly cheap to begin with...tasted like vinegar, lol.

        Hi guys,

        I have had a quiet day at home, relaxing after yesterday's busy-ness...no AL today for me, do not know if DG wants to track weekends or not...I will reward myself with a 0 on the Drink Tracker as well as a sticker on my daily diary!!! (ever the elementary school teacher... Sticker Queen herself...lol). FF

          Hi TMH, fantastic work on wed and thurs affing it! we missed you too! It sounds like you're having a great visit out in MN.

          Thanks for the encouragement FF, I'm so glad now that I kept to my goal, I think it gets too easy for me to start making excuses to myself once I start breaking my own rules (lord knows I've done that plenty of times before). I'll keep the tally board going for the weekend days too, I hadn't thought about it but that's a great idea.

          LG, that sounds disgusting :H A fresh bottle sounds like a good idea!

          Vliven, hang in there and be proud of every acccomplishment along the way! and remember this is all about our own personal goals, no one has to do a sun-thurs or whatever, do what you feel comfortable with.

            This evening we had steaks grilled outdoors and my husband and I shared a half bottle of red wine...(his idea)..so it was not an AF day for me. I thought of LG and her previous post...our bottle was not new, and not particularly tasty! W ecerainly did not over-indulge. Happy Sunday, everyone! FF

              Well, guys checking in and definitely not AF tonight. I have drank most of a bottle of red wine...a regular sized bottle. Bf drank a little of it, but I had the majority. On diet pepsi now, but know I should have been a bit more conservative. Oh well, on to more AF days...

                        Sunday night here...not AF for me, as dh and I shared the rest if the mini bottle of white wine he had used in cooking. Happy week ahead, modders! FF

                          morning modders! I had a nice AF sunday and plan to do it all again today. Anyone else af-ing last night or today?

                          LG I don't really plan things out that far ahead lol, but I'm glad we're all still in. Vliven, are you in this week?

                          TMH, 1? wow, that is great, and it sounds like you had a light drinking night too FF, great work.


                          ps. if I mess up anything on the tallyboard, just let me know and I'll add it in etc. did anyone af on Saturday? (I didn't see anyone mention it)

                            I AF'd Friday....... Haven't checked the tally to see if u caught that.... I plan to AF today as well. Thanks again DG for keeping up this thread!

                              Was AF last night, Sunday. Being taken out for dinner tonite so am not going to make decision now.

                              DG - yes, Sat after I poured the glass of wine I thought I'm really hungry, go ahead & eat. Did so and usually after I eat I don't care for anymore. Hours later dh came home from outdoor football game (freezing) & he wanted a glass of wine. I poured one for myself too, took 1 sip, let it sit and gave to him. Hence, I counted one. Now that's moderation.
