    Keep doing what you're doing. The Mod forum is a small but invaluable section on this site. I suspect more people than you know have a good lurk. It could be that it supports some in harm reduction, alternatively it could be that it confirms AF is the way. I doubt very much too many people hang around just for the sake of it. Lots of good info and advice to be found here. Thank you.

      I have a PM showing an old thread that was pretty much along the same lines, but it became unused.
      Whilst for the older members we go where we like I think the new members need clarity.

      I visit all threads as I am an avid reader and just bloody nosy! :H But I do find too much talk of periodic consumption rocks me a little when I am in a fragile moment. For newbies desperately trying to get extended or even lifelong abstainance talk of having a few 'being better than nothing' must be VERY hard.

      A clear declaration of etiquette would be better. Those wanting to taper by choice or by necessity would not feel attacked or rejected. Just good sense really.

          I like the ODAAT thread renewal. Someone mentioned it and it seems very appropo. Maybe it will be started tomorrow as several members seemed to like the idea.

            Someone suggested it be started daily by someone in NZ as the new day starts first here. Are there any modders in NZ.

            I am firmly an abstainer so not putting my hand up for that ( and NOT a morning person)

              I love it that we are not just complaining but we are coming up w a solution!,, sorry I'm too naive and new to help but I just want to say I was going to bail out and leave mwo after I finish w my buddy dangrog on our quest of 10 AF days (4 more to go!!). But if this can be resolved, I would be so excited to stay here!!!

                It's just one day at a time, kuya, and *anyone* can post. It's not a modder's thread or AFer's thread. No subject is off limits. Well, maybe no graphic details of your bedroom antics. You can hint.:H:H

                P.S. As I'm not in NZ, I won't be the one to start the thread IF it gets started, but I do know that *something* is in the works.

                  Most of the time I am fine hearing about others moderating, but sometimes I am fragile and really DON'T want to hear it.

                                After all the discussion why don't we just restart the ODAT thread in just starting out?

                                It will serve the same purpose as Tipplerettes 'tail between legs', give those struggling to get more than a few days at a time a 'sanctioned ' place to post. Older members, AF or modders can post there and help with queries and newbies wont feel won't feel like failures.

                                Thoughts?
