      ENERGY SUGGESTIONS?!?!

Haven't you all heard of flylady.net? The "fly" stands for Finally Loving Yourself. It is a cleaning, organizational website using the concept of doing something for just 15 min. Use a timer. She has a book called Sink Reflections, but I think the website and the daily email are more helpful. I'm not religious about following it, but do fall back to it whenever I start feeling overwhelmed.

Another thing I like to do is "commercial cleaning". Watching golf or Lifetime channel, I just get up and do something during the commercials. You know how long they can be!

          ENERGY SUGGESTIONS?!?!

SKendall;1404764 wrote: These posts are echoing my "condition". I, too, am overwhelmed by housework and the fact that my housekeeping is lacking is depressing me, but I only clean up when I'm expecting company. The fact that my future is insecure, recovering from a foot reconstruction and still in pain probably has something to do with it.

I was more apt to tackle cleaning when I was on hydrocodone post-surgery, just felt like cleaning and being up and at em. Sadly, those days are over. I also procrastinate and starting tomorrow (see?) I plan on tackling just one job instead of wishing I could do everything at once.

It will start with the living room. I haven't had alcohol in about a year, so not sure what the problem is. I identify the state of my home with my self-respect, so it's about time I got with the program.
I don't believe this has anything to do with alcohol - I had years without it and still hated housework - it's a chore and its yecchhhyyy!!! A couple of drinks may make it seem less like a chore but I'd love someone to tell me WHAT drinks make or acceptable cause it's all just the usual grind for me lol 8-)

                    ENERGY SUGGESTIONS?!?!

I started juicing about 8 months ago and i can't tell you the energy burst you get from a big glass of fresh fruit and veggie juice.

My friend actually was doing shots in the morning to get going. It is really amazing.

Of course it invloves some effort and of course a juicer but I can't recommend it enough.

ALos, My ipod with my music on the headphones really helps get me going as well...I don't house work either.

Cleaning my house is like bailing out the Titanic with a dixie cup...

                    Why bother!

                    Hugs and heart

                    :l:h

PS: I don't clean I rearrange and downsize

                      ENERGY SUGGESTIONS?!?!

                      CoQ10

                      Hi Folks,
I'm mostly on the Topa thread and I'm trying to moderate also, hope it's ok if I jump in here and get to know you all, I know some of you already

I have a suggestion regarding the energy thing. I have a little grandaughter with low muscle tone and recently the Specialist recommended CoQ10 daily to boost her energy level. Since then my daughter andi have both been taking it andi can really tell a difference when I remember to take it, it might be worth a try for you.

                      Love,play

                        ENERGY SUGGESTIONS?!?!

I just started a thread under holistic healing called Eat for Heat, the title of Matt Stone's latest book. It is only available as an e-book, $10 from Amazon. It refers to increasing your metabolism.
My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

                            ENERGY SUGGESTIONS?!?!

CoQ10 I used during marathon training, it open up your vascular system...I never thought about it as an energy booster, but I guess it does make sense...I still have some. I stopped taking it, becuase I'm not training for any races right now...I've noticed a recent lull in my energy levels, perhaps I should try it...
