    Ruined My Run

I went out with friends and had 3 beers yesterday. OK, big ones.

Had a little hangover this am, which I was surprised about given the relatively few pints. Maybe it was because I hadn't been drinking for over a week.

I felt worse psychologically than physically-- like I had lost something.

I am glad that I didn't do more damage. Before this abstaining stuff, I would have come home and drank everything in the house, which I didn't. It took some self control not to do that.

    Sigh.

    Starting over.

    Bah.

that's right...you're a lightwieght now...congradulations really though that's a good sign. and a good thing for us all to consider. If we fell off the wagon and went to our early drinking levels we'd really be up the creek!
hang in there DoggyGirl....better day tomorrow.

Grooveychick, just start over. As it has been said here many times....fall down 10 times, but get up 11 times. And in time, you will get there. lots of luck. Bella xxx

Groovychick, you should pat yourself on the back for the strength you showed in returning home and not drinking everything you could find! Well done. Have a good day today.

Well, good for not drinking everything in the house, anyway. Sorry you slipped up, and I understand the feeling of losing something. You can get back on the wagon right away and repair the damage quickly. No one can take away what you did accomplish, and you know that you can do it! Just go for it again, Groovy!

          All the best!:l :l

Hi Groovy chick - That disgusted, icky feeling will help you the next time you are tempted.
Don't let it get you down - just add it to your resevoir of 'reasons I don't drink"
Use it to help strengthen your resolve for the next time.
            Just gotta keep going.
Today will be the first of a lot of sober happy days...just think that.

and congrats on all you have accomplished so far..
