Hi maryt. I'm new here and look forward to getting to know you better. I'm a dog person so I can imagine how sad you must be having to give up full custody of your 4-legged friend. Sounds like you did the right thing though with your schedule. That's hard....

Hi Maryt, I'm sorry to hear about your dog too. I (like doggy girl) am a dog person although I don't have one at the moment - flat is too small and is without a garden.
They sure do make your day when you get in from work and come running 'tails-a-wagging'.
Like you said though, at least you can look forward to that kind of reception when you visit your dad!!

        Take care

            Hi Maryt,

sorry about your dog. It is not easy when you have to work, at least he is with your Dad and happy.

I hope your work eases soon and you have less pressure and stress.

            Regards
            Diamond xx

Hi Maryt, nice to have you back. It's hard for you to give up your dog, but I sort of understand your neighbours, grin ... I bore the brunt of one neighbour doing the dog thing to me. The problem in this world is that we're living in unnatural circumstances. None of us is meant to live caged in apartments, where everyone hears everybody else's every move. We're all meant to live in houses! And we're all meant to enjoy our lives and not live in a rat race. And that's the reason why so many people (like us) suffer of substance abuse ...

              Anyways, hang around.

Hi Maryt, so sorry to hear about your dog. He is not nor forgotten. Read the poem I sent to my daughter on General Discussion, that was final.

Welcome back and enjoy the journey with us.

Hi, Mary - too bad about your dog. This good thing is that you know where he is, and that he will be well taken care of, and you can see him from time to time. So much better than if you had had to put him down, or give him to the pound. I am a doggy person too, my own little friend is a 10 1/2 year old bichon frise, who had us totally wrapped around her finger (er, paw). Hoping you feel better soon.
