Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your prayers and best wishes. I believe prayer works, and there is some good news. They have finally been successfull in putting in the tube, so his stomach is actually connected to the intestine once again, for a while at least. This will allow him to have liquids, such as pureed soups, ensure drink, etc. This is great because it means he can go home for a while, still has an IV but can move around with it. I am hoping the family will be able to have some quality time now, which they will need for later. Once, again, thanks so very much!The furture lies before you like newly fallen snow - be careful how you tread it, for every step will show.Comment

I'm so glad that he will be able to go home and have time with his family and friends. That must be a tremendous comfort to him. I'm glad that the docs didn't give up on trying to get that tube in!
