    Hi everyone and happy AF day. Special congratulations Kathy for your start on Month 3! That is awesome - I can't wait to be where you are one day! And welcome Betty Boob (love your avatar collection too) for a ride on the AF train.

    I found my cravings for sugar over the top during the first week to maybe 10 days of AF. I gave myself leeway at first, but the only way for me anyway, to get those cravings to stop is to stop feeding my body sugar and other crav-o-matic junk food. Deter thanks for the reminder about Omega 3's and cravings. I was taking them for different reasons - but need to remember this one too.

    Day 34 AF is going great! The first 4 days of this challenge were sure a WHOLE lot easier than the first four days of the first challenge!

      A quick hello to everyone - first day back at school tomorrow after the summer holiday so always very tiring at it's already 1am - definitely need my beauty sleep!

      Thanks for all your wonderful tips here - I'm coming back tomorrow to save them all for reference - really good stuff to try!

      Glad to see you here Popeye - have missed you around

      Congrats to all the great achievements - not up with them yet but the determination's back so hopefully be there soon.

            Interesting info today - When I first stopped drinking I was exhausted. I felt tired for what seemed like weeks. When I was drinking I assumed I just didn't have a sweet tooth!
            I said I preferred salty foods. Well, just wasn't true.
            I have bought more ice cream and sweets in the last 6 months than I have in the last
            6 years!
            Det- thanks for that advice. I started Atkins today with the idea of mostly just cutting out the sugar and junk food. I did well all day - then came home and remembered the ice cream in the fridge and I gave in. Not so good for day 1 !

            Starting back tomorrow. I' having some trouble with sleeping now too - and I take melatonin every night. I think it's just extra stress right now.
            I haven' slept thru the night in about 3 weeks now. Very tiring.
            Hcamper - good luck with hubbys new job. Keeping my fingers crossed for you
