You know, it just proves MWO works.. I just replied to this thread with my AF days and suddenly within a few minutes there are five such positive responses, it just spurs you on, this is such a fantastic place..

Pansy, that was an inspiring post, that will keep me going even if I slip yet again (tho I'm not planning on it).

I am tempted to cheat and say I am on day 10, because I only slipped twice with a very very wee bit of alcohol. Ok, but to be completely honest then, day 6 here.

What I also realised is that I have had more AF days in the past 6 months than drinking days, which is also an accomplishment, albeit far from my ambitions.

WHEE Day 47 AF!! I wanted a drink in the worst way yesterday after assessing our yard damage in a more detailed way. Looks like a war zone. BUT....I know that a drink will take me right back to square one, and it's just not worth it. So...I'm thankful no trees crashed onto our house or fence or us or dogs. Cleanup will be over eventually. Power will be back on eventually. All of these things will happen whether I drink or not.

I will NOT give up ground to :alf: - no way.
