Oh my, I was just weeping as I read your story about you childhood and then having to give up Em. You have suffered so much, yet you have seen this beautiful woman grow up despite your suffering. I'm sure the fact that you have stayed close has made a big impact on her.

I am so angry and so sad at what you suffered at your crazy parents' hands, FMF, and I can understand your feelings now that Em is going to leave for Germany. I have the feeling that you will be okay, though--you are made of strong stuff.

Thank you so much for sharing the story of where you came from and the happiness of the wedding with all of us. It helps us all to understand you so much better, and as you said, it was good to get it out.

Thank you so much for sharing your story with us Feet. You are a remarkable lady and should be so proud of yourself. I had read about you going to the wedding but it all makes so much more sense now. You are not alone, there are lots more of us out there from crazy families. Look forward to the future, your daughter and son in law sound lovely. Be there for them and part of their new life together.
