Thank you Deter. I feel great today. I slept until 8:30 & made a really nice breakfast. I think I needed a little pampering. We have a Halloween party tonight. I'll be on my guard, but I'm not overly worried. I know what to do. Love, Mary

Hi Deter and Mary,

I indulged myself in some "retail therapy" today. It was fun. I got some fun clothes and 3 pairs of new shoes.

I went to the wine store to get some AF wine to drink tonight and they were having a wine tasting. I used to love those--I'd try all the wines and end up having almost a whole glass in the process. Today when the wine merchant offered me some, I just announced that I don't drink the real stuff any more--I just drink AF wines. He looked like he might like to choke. Meanwhile, the shop owners, who know me through drinking and sober times just laughed. I thought it was funny.

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well. It was a great day here.
