Gmornin' Rob! Where is everyone!?!?! I have been wanting to change my avatar (even though I LOVE him), b/c I thought it was hard to say anything serious with the beefcake angel looking down. BUT......... for one thing - the ladies ALL love him (and I like to share good stuff with my sisters) and.... bootsie (in her pithy bootcamp code) reminded me of the actual meaning of the word 'Avatar':
av?a?tar / Pronunciation Key - [av-uh-tahr, av-uh-tahr] –noun
1. Hindu Mythology. the descent of a deity to the earth in an incarnate form or some manifest shape; the incarnation of a god.
2. an embodiment or personification, as of a principle, attitude, or view of life.
So, my angel has his proper place here - at least for a while longer. respect!
Before I write along post I'm going to see if this one goes through - been having trouble posting...

Ok, someone posted asking for instructions for inserting pics in posts last week. It was one of those, I'll get back and answer that later deals which I of course never got back to.
Now if I was really smart I could post a tutorial with pics of how to do things but I'm not so you'll just have to visualize.
Inserting pics 101.
1) Get the picture into your computer. You do this by RIGHT clicking on a picture. You'll get a drop down screen slect "Save picture as" a box will pop up with several selections. Select My Pictures. Once you've selected my picutes, at the bottom of that screen there will be a title bar, you can retitle the picture if you choose then hit the save button on the lower right side of the box.
This sounds complicated, but once you've done it a time or two its really easy.
2) See the little paper clip at the top of the the reply to post box (you won't see it on the quick reply) ? Click on it. That's the manage attatchment tool. Click on it. You'll get another popup box. At the top of that box there is a browse button. Click that button. Your My Pictures will show up. Click on the picture that you want to insert, hit open. The Manage Attatchment box will show up again. Hit the upload button.
You can upload up to 4 images at a time.
3) Now as you type your post when you want to insert a picture go back to the paper clip and click on it. You'll get a dropdown of the pics that you've uploaded select the one that you want to insert. What you'll see in your post is ATTATCH1111ATTATCH don't worry, that's your pic, it will show up in your finished post.
So there ya go. Play around with it have fun.
One more note. If you want to get a pic of say oh, I don't know maybe SVEN right click on it and follow the above procedure.

Wonder -- thank you for the avatar definition -- hmmmm -- Holly Golightly had some good qualities (or -- she was baically a prostitute) but she was actually Truman Capoote's altar ego!(LOL!!!!!)
Anyway... I had a real scare yesterday... I have read that it happens when you are feeling good after being AF for a while... I decided yesterday that I was going to drink!!!!!! I was done with work early and my boyfirnd was playing tennis late... so I had it figured out... then it became a preoccupation -- it was awful... but thank goodness it was election day because alcohol would not be sold until 6PM -- I ended up eating dark chocolate instead...
So, I thought to myself ELECTION DAY will always have a new meaning... I elected NOT to drink... but it was sooooo close.
So today my plan is 3 meals (I have a tendency to NOT eat) and lots of WATER & Supps. to keep me feeling balanced... also, I need to make sure I check in here three times a day... I read KatieSmiles post yesterday & it really hit home.

Hi Fellow Inn mates
It is quite around today. Maybe there is some fun activity that we are missing out on??? Personally have just been pigging out on food. Highly recommend the restaurant here in the INN. I'm trying to convince myself that its not too bad as I'm not washing it down with a bottle of wine, saving calories!!!

Good morning, all!!
baby - I absolutley know what you mean. I also forget to eat. If at the end of the day I have not eaten much, maybe not had enough water my cravings are ENORMOUS!
So, let's make that a HOUSE RULE - We must have three squares a day and have at least 6 (better to have 8, but let's be realistic), glasses of water a day! If I have a protein bar and a bottle of water on my drive home I can pretty much be assured I will not have the urge to drink - if not, I am talking to every store on the way home in my head!
LET'S HAVE AN INPROMPTU WEDNESDAY SHOUT OUT, JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT - A MID WEEK BOOSTER SHOT!
DAY 7 FOR MM... YEHAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWW
I am actually feeling good enough to get some exercise today - so off I go. I wil take it easy, but I need to move...

MM- Great rule. I too am bad about skipping meals. By the time I get around to eating, I just wolf down the first thing I can lay my hands on. Which is usually, high fat, unhealthy junk.

Late check in for Suze....been at the docs....got some new meds for the kidney so feeling hopeful!!
Wonder.....let the techie bosses (whoever they are lol) know you've got posting probs....we are frustrated not to be getting the whole wonder thing!
Ok...a Wednesday shout-out - and this is weird because off the top of my head I can't remember the number of days....is that good or bad?? Checked the diary....it's 26 Days AF.......that feels so nice
Now...I've got to tell you - I just don't understand that 'not eating' thing, my little munchkin friends !:H I love food and I've hardly finished a meal before I'm thinking about and planning the next one LOL! I had butternut squash soup with sunflower/pumpkin/shelled hemp seeds with crackers for lunch. A banana and some walnuts afterwards....and I'm already drooling over tonight's smoked tofu stir-fry with avocado sauce and a carrot/sweetheart cabbage salad.......c'mon girls....FOOD IS GREAT....EAT LOTS!!!!:H

Im with you Suze, Food on the brain .....Just had call from daughter ..going to chinese restaurant tonight early evening before her date. My plan is to take the car so can't drink.
Well done to you suze 26 days BRILLIANT you must be so proud.
