Hi everyone...i read here a lot but post mostly in subscribers....i am 11 days af today and am sticking with it... thought this might be a good place to join considering it is monthly abstinence...i tried mods which didnt work for me...i recently returned form the lenair center and am feeling great...thanks for reading and any support....i look forward to getting to know you all...bug hugs and blessings...buckle

11 days AF, good work. I found those first 10 days the most likely times to revert to old ways. What are your goals?

Welcome to the abs. part of MWO. I have as a stated goal, AF for life. This place is helping me find my way to that.

Can you describe your feeling as similar to MyCatsMom? In that, since she was at Lenair's she simply feels like a non-drinker? Bootsie's, too?

In any case, I know 11 days AF and sticking to it is awesome. Huge blessings back at you, Buckle. :l

hey buck saw you posted and had a few minutes to post too. gosh since i'm not counting i didn't think to post here. but since lenair i'm going on about humm i think 50 days. haven't had that in what 9 years? i haven't looked back, hasn't been hard, haven't thought about drinking cept that first week i had drinking dreams but i think it was just clearing out of my system. been to bars out for drinks a plenty since i came back and order up my tea or cranberry juice. no big deal. so, go buckie go and everyone else. it's good to be clean and sober and not having to think about booze at all

Hey Buckle, I don't count days now, I count months. I still find this a great and supportive place to come to maintain my sobriety though. You couldn't ask for a better bunch. Just look for the dated "Daily Thread".

Congrats on your good work. Of course, Bootsie et al. are all welcome too!
