I got through Jan and Feb without a drink. Yay! Then on March 1st I started drinking (and bought a pack of cigarettes for the first time in eight years and smoked those for good measure). Threw up a lot, carried on drinking (but not smoking!) for the next four days.
So now I'm back on Day 4 again. A few more bruises, quite a lot more lessons learned about my personal triggers etc, and looking forward to getting some more sober days under my belt.

Inspiration can certainly be found all over the MWO site! Reading posts is a great way to occupy time here on Day 1 AF. Congratulations to each and every person on this thread for your success whether it's one day or double digits or tripple digits. And to the 200 AF Day Plussers Chief, July and Youngatheart - WOW. It's so wonderful to see that you all have stuck with it. Your success helps me believe I can do it to.
