Well crew, I have the cold now too. After a week of spring break with my kids and what seems like every other kid in the county I am worn out and tired. Was it Hannah or Beck who said to watch the 12th day??? Day 11, close enough. It was a tough one here. If the gin was still in the house I'd be into it by now. WOW am I glad I dumped it. Thankfully my full wine rack holds little allure. I really want to make it 30 days and do it again. I love having clarity of mind and my butt is getting smaller too:H

Well, I'm off to formulate a weekend plan.

It's Saturday and I don't have a headache...

:heart::heart::heart: oh wow...one of these days I'm gonna fill up this whole square with hearts and they'll all be for each of you as well as myself. I've starting reading the book and have ordered the CDs. In general, I won't take any drugs but I do have a bottle of antabuse stashed for crisises. First, I'll post here and see if writing about it can't calm me down. The stuff really makes me sick: I even have to use a special toothpaste

I've got genes, lifestyle, personality, sun sign Scorpio, marital, money and what else, to work on. I quit smoking years ago, why is suicidial drinking so darn hard to quit?? I really like waking up every morning:h

Late, late, late?.1:30 to be exact, about to toddle off to bed, but didn?t get a chance at the computer at all today (hubby home!) and wanted to say a quick hello/goodnight.

Gelgit - love your handle - it?s always nice to understand from whence it comes - makes a lot of sense, ?back and forth? so describes the alcoholic mindset - very apt?..and I am sure you will change that?.I am sure it?s common to have trouble trying to meditate?.so many thoughts in our heads most of the time?.a moment of utter tranquility comes only once in a while?but without Al in our lives, even the hustle and bustle and chaos of our everyday lives can seem more tranquil?.wishing you all the best in your journey, Gelgit?

On My Way - Have to admire you on having a full wine rack and not even feeling the pull. Wine has always been my poison of choice, darn it all. The hard stuff, and beer, hold no pull for me?each to their own, I guess. Isn?t it nice to see the ?butt? growing smaller? So many wasted calories in booze - it?s like going on a high power diet, just abstaining - and so much cheaper too!!! Good luck of your weekend plan - I know you will kick A$$?.
