    I can't find some movie tickets that I bought last week.

    I LOVE the fact that I don't know where they are and it's just because I don't remember! It has nothing to do with AL!!

          Alcohol no longer seems, to me, like something that adds anything of significance to anyone's life. Those who are not alcohol-dependent really don't love it all that much... and those of us who have really "loved" it are the ones who can't handle it, who get ourselves wrecked over it...

          Sometimes an urge to drink does strike me... but it is no longer accompanied by any thoughts about how it would really be a "nice" thing, if only I could... it's just an urge, and it passes.

            What do you love about your AF Life? (Inspired by Cindi)

            I love the consistency in my life, even if it's consistently sitting on my butt reading, posting here, watching tv.

            I love being happier at work and more productive. I love not being in the lead for sick days taken.

            I love appreciating everyone more.

            I love that I'm becoming closer to God.

            I'm not a very spontaneous person when it comes to going out (drinking was done at home, alone) but I like that someone can call and ask me to go somewhere or do something and I can actually go without making excuses from being too hungover or drunk.

            I love my new friends/relationships here. xxxooo

              I love waking up in time for a shower before work
              I love how much better I sleep
              I love the money I do not spend
              I love the way my husband looks at me
              I love that I spent last night on a movie "date" with my 18 yr old son instead of a date with Pinot Grigio

                I love living my life free from wine and cigs! It was been just over a year AF and 2 years off the fags. I wake up every day so happy that I made this choice. I wish I had done it years age. Everything in my life has changed so much.
                My relationship with my husband is 100% better.
                I am taking care of my kids.
                I am learning who I am and what makes me tick.
                I am learning to like who I am.
                My job is improving daily.
                I have a group of friends who are very dear to me.
                I have taken responsibility for my life and I know when I am being selfish.
                I have found peace!

                    I love that I can be aware and present for my teen-aged son who is tipping his toe into adulthood. I can drive at a moment's notice and have conversations with him at 11:30pm - that I can remember.
