                  Hi DG
Not only congrats on stopping drinking but also on the change in lifestyle that is so important to living a sober life. You have been a great cheerleader for all of us struggling with this battle and you probably don't even know how many people you have helped along the way. Thank you for your example and enjoy reaching an important goal that seemed so far away 100 days ago

                    Doggygirl,
I have been away from MWO (yes, with my head in a wine bottle) and it is such a thrill to come back and see you here at 100 days!!!!!
You have been so open about how difficult this struggle is but all of your posts are so optimistic, inspiring and just plain funny. You make this place a great place to be while trying to tackle some serious problems.
Thank you for being here and congratulations on achieving 100 days. IT'S HUGE!!!!!
                    Janet

PS......I thought of you the other day as I remembered that you rented "Desperate Housewives" in the early days to amuse yourself and keep your mind occupied. I couldn't find "Desperate Housewives" so settled on "Boston Legal". I almost rented "Sex in the City" but figured there was too much drinking in the show. Fortunately I don't watch much tv so I have alot of catching up to do!!!

BOOZEBUSTER DOGGYGIRL IS 100 DAYS AF

Hi everyone!! Today has been a super busy one - could never have accomplished all this in the old days. But that means it has taken me a long time to get back to all of you - WOW!!! You guys are amazing - I couldn't believe the number of posts. For those if you who are just getting on the road for your journeys, YOU CAN DO THIS!! If I can do it, anybody can do it. Life is GOOD!!

WIP, special thanks for those half nekked men. You KNOW I love those. I'll have boy #2 please. Be careful dogging along behind me.....well....never mind. I just won't eat any cabbage.

Thank you Greenie in your BGP's :grannypants:!!!! I'm so glad you have turned your path around!!

Cinders - you sound so happy recently too - even with medical stuff and DD and "life" that is not always smooth sailing. All of it is easier to handle sober - I know you agree with that. Thank you for the poem!! (you all are too creative!!!)

Thank you Wally and OMW and Looking to grow!

Liv - LOL on the 1,000's. At Curves where I work out they have T-shirts for 100 work outs, 200 workouts, every hundred workouts up to 1,000 workouts. There are a couple ladies I see all the time at the club with those 1,000 work out shirts. That's where I'm aimin'!!!! (I'm at 120 workouts now.. so got the 100 shirt already..) WE NEED SHIRTS HERE!!

doubternolonger, thank you for stopping by and yes, my saga IS well documented. Too well me thinks!

kriger, I picked up my new BBQ grill this afternoon! I really love to cook and I'm re-discovering that as a fun and now SOBER activity. Believe it or not, I've never learned to grill. Our old one barely works - not something for a beginner to try unless I want the house to burn down. So tomorrow evening I will be trying my hand at some burgers from start to finish by myself. (LOL maybe I should start with dogs - even less financial risk with those!!) I'm looking forward to becoming a grill meister. There are a bunch of ladies at Curves who could grill circles around most men - southern style. So I have a good source for those little "secrets."

Sheep - I DO want it bad, that's for sure. You hang in their our little friend!!!!!

tlrgs - where do you get those smilies???

Thank you LVT and Teardrop!!! and DeeBee (we're going ostrich riding someday!) and AFM.

Caysea, 100 days ago seems like a different lifetime. Or somebody else's life. But it WAS mine and I own it, and I need never forget where AL leads me. Thank you for leading me to see the importance of "lifestyle change" rather than just "exercise."

Thank you Janet and Mary!! Janet, TV series on DVD's ROCK don't they? I'm still entertaining myself with Desparate Housewives!! I think it's hysterical that Mr. Doggy loves that show now too. GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE DANG BOTTLE!!! Actually, I understand where you are all too well. And I know you'll be back when you are ready to fully engage.

                        You all are the best.
