Hi Everyone:

I just wanted to start this daily thread, because the beginning of the day doesn't feel right unless I do. I've been thinking a lot about the "why" of my drinking. I think much of it is habit.
-It's how I've gotten used to going through difficult situations.
-It's how I've relaxed & rewarded myself.
-It's how I've let go of the control that I feel in my life.
Today, I'm keeping it simple & saying:
-"I'm not drinking today...end of story."

Yesterday was a very powerful day for you. Your candor and courage is inspiring. And as you can see, I am not alone in my thinking

Today I will try not be a crabby B? think it must be pms. I will not drink because it serves nothing positive in my life. I will keep it simple!

Hey all, and good morning. Good to hear your determination, Mary! OMW, I like keeping it simple. I'm not drinking today because it poisons my life, my heart, my body, my soul. Saturday I will have been AF for 60 days, and I am committed to keeping my life free of alcohol.

whew! late check in again from garlic breath here. Long hours at the trade show and now back in my hotel room after carbo loading at the pizza place and enjoying a couple of frosty o'douls.
