Ice cream is a great choice... but, I would plant a Pine tree, they grow fast and during the holidays you can decorate it outside to remind yourself of the light it brought to your life. Too softy??

hi janice... if there is anything i can do to offer support/encouragement i would love to help.
this is probably the most 'not easy' thing i've done in life.
and quite honestly i've done too many not easy things.

it is worth the effort though. especially waking up in the morning and realizing... hey... i'm not drunk and i'm not hungover. wow.

okay i'll be off to the garden center for a tree.
i like waiting for his way out's advice... although i'll probably be in SA in december... it WILL remind me of my 90 days.
i really feel i need to celebrate my small accomplishments.
yesterday SUCKED. not because i couldn't drink... it was just a stressful day at the end of a stressful week. we had a work function to top it all off... everyone with their children and significant others.... me the token unmarried 'loose' woman.
i just wanted to be invisible. i want to be invisible.
and then came home to dad drinking whiskey and talking non-stop and a loud tv.
whatever.
i know, i know. today.... tree and then i stay inside and draw and maybe start a painting.
i will come up w/a theme for a new series of paintings in the next two days.
i will not bother to go to the beach.
i will try and be positive.
