        Hello Everyone-
I'm usually doing my first post in the a.m., so I don't even know if anyone will be reading this. But, it's important for me to check in every day.
New Creation, I am flattered that you would considered some of our postings "professional" and question if we are "real". It's both a good thing and a bad thing. GOOD, because we sound like we know the beast we're dealing with and BAD, because if we weren't such full blown alcoholics, we wouldn't be so knowledgable on the subject. I look at it as a person who's gone on diet, after diet, after diet throughout their lifetime. After all that dieting, and all the programs they either joined or paid for, they are still fat. If they used all the tools they were given throughout the years, they'd be in better shape. But they tuck those tools away in a box and live their lives secretly miserable. That's how it is for us alcoholics. We've done this for so long, and have tried to quit, moderate, or deny 'til we're blue in the face. As we've learned about alcoholism, we've applied some of the tools. But as time has gone by, those tools end up in a toolbox, not being used. And now, here's a group of us on MWO, sharing our tools, our miseries, our similiarities, our accomplishments, our questions, as well as other things.
So welcome!! Join in! Read some of the stories people share and you'll be amazed at how many of them sound like yourself. When I first came here in September, I liked reading stories from people who were in their first few days like me. It helped me cope, knowing that I was not alone in what I was going through.
        KEEP COMING BACK!!;-)
