Hello everyone and how are we today then question mark hope everyone is doing well on the Sunday morning. I went up to a place just outside of a place called Castleford yesterday it is an area of 360 acres and used to be an open cast coal mine full stop it got flooded and the mining was abandoned and now it is a massive Nature Reserve. The weather was pretty good and saw some absolutely fantastic Birds. I got some decent pictures though to be honest with you not as many as I hope I would quite a few of them turned out disappointingly so stop still can't be a winner every day! Was going to go metal detecting tomorrow but that has been knocked on the head I trapped a nerve in my leg last night and to see it was painful is an under exaggeration.it has eased off this morning but very tender.
looking at the trump government..it is very similar to our own..yours look like they have just come out of jail hours look like they should be in jail! Amy is on the way down so we are going out for dinner later on. Take care everyone and have a great day

    Good evening everyone,

LOL I thought it was Sunday when I woke up today too!!!! Took me half the day to figure out it’s Saturday.
Still not feeling the best but hopefully soon. Stuck close to the house today, don’t want to be spreading ‘it’ around, whatever it is.

Mick, sorry about the pinched nerve, sounds painful. I woke up with a severe leg cramp a few days ago, ouch. Your bird pictures were awesome & Elouise looks very happy & healthy.
I actually feel ashamed that we will be unleashing Trump on the world again. I’ll never understand why people think he’s so wonderful. His cabinet picks are a damn disgrace. I hope we all live thru the turmoil he’s about to unleash. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Hello to all & wishing everyone a nice night.

      Hello again,

This time it really is Sunday, Lol
I think I’m coming back to life - finally. These virus things are hard to get rid of once they’ve taken over your domain.

I hope everyone has had a great day & wishing a nice night for all!

I’m at D3’s & her husband’s house now; made the drive yesterday. I love being here with the little family. Ayla is so cute at 3 months old! So alert and looking around with her bright eyes! She looks rather like Elouise, as they are the same age. 2 y/o Andy is a sweetheart too. It’s warmer here, being further south; and we spent lots of time outdoors yesterday. They are such good parents, and so cooperative in both running their home and in co-parenting together. D3 is still on maternity leave, so it’s a good time to be here.

Hope that virus runs its course soon, Lav.

That sounds like a beautiful area where you went to photograph, Mick. Worth it just to be in nature, even if it didn’t have so many birds.

          Hey everyone,

I’m back in business today - yay!! Tired of feeling like crap to be honest.
I had a 3 pm appt to take 2 cats to the Vet for booster. Luna flat out refused to be crated. We struggled & chased her for 20 min when I said screw it. We took Dave for his shot. &I explained the situation with Luna. Get this - I told them if they would give me the injectable that I would be happy to give it to her myself. They said No!!! I explained I was a nurse with 30 years experience & I would have no problem sticking her. Their response was bring her in another day. Yeah, maybe I will maybe I won’t. It’s not worth raising our blood pressures fighting with a cat. Unbelievable.
Working on some embroidery stuff for a friend now, nice sunny & warm day here.

Slo, I am feeling 100% better, thanks. Glad you got to go see your little ones, I’m sure you enjoyed that. I will be in touch with you soon.

Mick, enjoy the snowfall, early though it may be

Hello to PQ, Cyn, Pie & everyone.
          Have a nice night all!

MAE ALL...well that week is finally over. I stayed late Friday and was in early on Saturday and all in all everyone said they had good sales, so I guess it's still worth it. Was exhausted on Sunday but did get out and got a new winter coat. Good thing as we woke up to a blizzard this morning. Temps are going to hover around -15C/59F for the rest of the week. Hoping by Wednesday everybody has figured out how to drive in winter conditions again as I have a Dr.'s appointment. Hope to hear something about the requested MRI.

Mick...I will have to check out your pics on MSG, especially Elouise, haven't seen her for awhile. Sorry about the pinched nerve, I know how painful that can be. Hope you had a nice dinner out with Amy.

Slo...I can't believe Ayla is already 3 months old. Sounds like you had a good visit.

Lav...glad to hear you're feeling better. I really must get my shots soon, my whole schedule got screwed up with my injury. I really don't blame you for giving up on Luna, I agree it's not worth it. It would have been nice if they'd let you give the shot yourself. Yeah, I would really think twice about whether it's worth it to take her in. It was definitely not nice, sunny or warm today. LOL

Shout out to everyone else. Have a good night all...PPQP

                Greetings everyone,

it was mostly sunny & 60 degrees, nice spring ay haha!! We supposedly have rain moving in for the next two days. I’ll believe it when it actually gets here.
meeting up with 2 friends for lunch tomorrow & to deliver pillows. I’ll do it in the rain. Got my hair cut today so I’m feeling more human. Doesn’t take much to make me happy.

PQ, sounds like it wasn’t a restful weekend for you but glad everything went well at the craft fair. I miss doing them myself (as exhausting as they are).
so you & Mick are sharing snow storms now, Lol. Nothing here yet, still waiting for some rain to stop all these brush fires that keeping popping up. Good luck with your doc appt & do get those vaccines. I don’t want to see any of us getting sick unnecessarily.

Mick, glad you’re feeling better too. Congrats on your first snowfall, I hope the snowman didn’t melt beside the fireplace haha!

Hello to Slo, Cyn, Pie & everyone.

MAE ALL...no snow over night so the roads weren't too bad except everything is now frozen. It's to stay way below freezing and more snow headed our way. We're going to be in this for awhile.

Mick...yup, still got the snow and it'll be here for awhile. No chinooks in the near future. Glad your leg is feeling better.

Lav...just as well you got your hair cut if you're delivery pillows in the rain tomorrow. I will get my covid/flu shots by the end of the week. It was a quiet day at work, got a lot accomplished. I was going to take the day off tomorrow but boss's MRI got switched to tomorrow so he isn't coming in. I'll go in after my appointment and save the time in lieu for a cold winter morning. Enjoy your lunch tomorrow.

MAE ALL...just checking in to let you know the Doctor's appointment went well. She said I was borderline Osteoporosis and didn't recommend any meds. She said to increase my calcium through nutrition and work on balance exercises. The rest of the physical was great and there was no need for any blood work. It continues to be cold which helps with the roads. Just a bit of snow throughout the day. Boss was off today, childcare busy downstairs and I only saw the accountant once all day. All in all a good day. Hope everyone is doing ok. Have a good night all...PPQP

                      Good evening friends,

Had a good day, nice meeting the old friends for lunch. Funny we can sit now & compare body aches related to our profession. None of us got out without some damage to joints, backs, shoulders & of course our feet. Just lucky to be alive at this point I guess, Lol
The promised rain is due to arrive around 9 pm so it was nice to get out & back home beforehand.

PQ, Congrats on the clean bill of health. Glad you won’t be taking any of those nasty drugs with terrible side effects. Look at the program I’ve been following for many years ‘Save Our Bones www.saveourbones.com
You can do a lot of good by paying attention to your nutrient intake as you will see.
I hope the snow stays minimal there, it’s still so early. Be safe!

Hello to Mick, Slo, Cyn, Pie & everyone.
                      wishing everyone a nice night!

It’s snowing some here now too! It’s barely snow, and bordering on sleet.
I just got back from my trip, and went straight to my hair appointment! Now I feel better too; not being so shaggy, and no hair falling into my eyes.
I spent yesterday evening at my friend’s house, and stayed overnight there, leaving late this morning. She & her husband live in the same state as D3.

Mick, you had a glimmer of an idea that you may move closer to Amy at some point?!
My deficits and aches & pains are still dogging me, but the foot isn’t quite as painful.

PQ, sounds like the craft fair is well worth it then for the vendors and the community customers!
Lav, I wish you could still sell at a craft fair! It would take a commitment from your grandsons to be hired to help you. And your son can’t really help because of his work hours.
Such a relief that you don’t have much osteoporosis going on, PQ. You & Boss both have MRIs to get done, I guess. That was the definition of a good day! (One accountant encounter only, no boss, and busy childcare people staying out of your hair!)

                        Good night, all.

hiya Slo how are things with you then?did you enjoy your sleepover? glad the foot isnt as painful. Yes you are right ...If it all works out we will in the future move to Lincolnshire, but it wont be until such times that Julies dad doesn't. need the care he does at present .hope you have a good day .

MAE All...another quiet day at work, wow, 2 in a row! With the craft fair over and the assistant childcare director figuring things out I've got some breathing room. Had my one-on-one with the boss today and mentioned that the accountant has been in a b*tchy mood the last couple of days. He said yeah, they had a "coming to jesus" talk. Not sure what that meant. LOL

Lav...I had a look at the website, it looks like you have to pay for the Osteoporosis Reversal Program, did you do that? I'd be interested in getting the Bone Appetit recipe book. I need to figure out what foods are rich in calcium. We got snow again last night and the commute was horrendous for everyone this morning, except me. LOL

Slo...it was nice that you were able to stop at your friends house last night for a visit. You do get around don't you.

Mick...I had a quick glance at MSG and saw the pic of all your snow. You could be living in Calgary! First I'm hearing about you guys ending up in Lincolnshire, how nice would that be for everyone. I basically have to get more calcium into my system and the doc wants me to work on some balance exercises. With my neck bent down and leaning forward, my centre of balance is way off. I am a very caution person when it come to walking on ice and stairs now.

Not much more to report. Hope everyone has a goodnight....PPQP

                              Good evening folks,

Happy to report we got almost an inch of much needed rain last night. The temp dropped today, it’s been colder & windy - currently feels like 35 degrees out there. Supposed. To get more rain tomorrow, snow up in the Poconos but not here.
Thanksgiving is one week from today, still trying to get an answer from our son & grandsons if they’re coming over. It’s also the oldest’s 16th birthday! We have a big gift for him (not a car like he asked for haha).

Slo, everyday I see notices about upcoming craft fairs, makes me sad but I’ll get over it. In the meantime I’m getting lots of requests from friends & locals looking for Christmas gifts so I’m staying involved. Glad you had some time away to visit with friends, we need that as we get older. Hope your snow doesn’t get to be too much.

Mick, sorry you had to cancel your plans due to weather. Will storm Bart bring rain or more snow?
We have given up talking about moving, at least for now. I honestly don’t feel like going through all the packing, throwing out, etc. What we really need is some help with outside work from time to time & we can hire willing Amish kids for that. YB has disassembled his garden & even gave his raised beds & all the dirt in them to the yung neighbors across the road. He can grow what he wants in the greenhouse & I’m sticking to growing flowers. We can buy all the veggies we want at the Amish stands anytime in the growing season.

PQ, when I first found the Save Our Bones program it wasn’t as developed as it is now. I started with the free info you get when you sign up. Years later I did buy into the program because I felt it was sound & a small price to pay to keep my bones together. We are definitely worth it!! After being talked into trying 2 of those nasty meds & throwing them out I figured I’d better step up. Give it some thought & at least sign up for the free info. They don’t hassle you whatsoever!

Hello to Cyn & Pie & everyone.
                              wishing everyone a nice night!
