    Hello everyone,

New week new thread & I thought I’d take us back to January for a few weeks LOL
We are in the middle of some crazy big snowstorm, started around 11 am & it’s still going on at 6 pm. It changed over to an icy rain for a while this afternoon then back to snow. Getting around tomorrow should be nearly impossible.

I hope everyone is safe & warm & doing OK.
    Have a great night!

Good morning everyone and how are we doing today then? Hope all is well. I see it is the big inauguration day over there wish you all the very best I hope you get a better deal than we got. It's interesting to see the names that will be on the podium with him there is certainly a lot of money behind that from what I was reading as well he has over 200 executive orders to sign up today as well. It's interesting that he is talking about deportation for criminal elements who are in the country illegally and he has got a massive acceptance vote for that irrespected or Creed colour or race the trouble is you don't know what to believe in the media. Julie's Dad he's in the chapel of rest at the moment so we're going to see him tonight full stop went down to the house this morning and got rid of lots and lots of cardboard old boxes and everything that we're in the loft don't ask why but they kept the boxes too we'll start hope everywhere is doing well

      hey all,
yep, got my black arm band for today's event on Martin Luther King day. What a conflict of ideas. Mick, you're right, lots of money behind the new old guy. How to buy a presidency 101.

Otherwise... a crisp morning here, not much snow yesterday here but it looks like the northern neighbors got a little snow. Fun to watch football in the snow, from my nice warm living room!

        Good evening friends,

Woke up to a brisk 10 degrees this morning, wow! They’re calling for 6 degrees tomorrow, Lol
Our neighbor plowed the driveway for us, grateful even though we didn’t have to go anywhere. Wr didn’t get as much as predicted, 3 or 4” or so but it’s pretty frozen now.

Mick, you & Julie have gotten a lot done with Dad’s house already. I remember his grandparents house being filled with empty boxes too, funny.
Now that we know hell has truly frozen over & have Trump back in the WH I guess we just wait & see what he blows up first. This whole thing is a true embarrassment for those of us with a lick of sense.

Sam, I can just imagine MLK wondering what is wrong with people these days. If Trump truly wants to deport people he should start with Musk who indeed bought the election. I hate his smug little face. Glad you didn’t get clobbered with snow. Stay inside & watch football haha!!

Hello to everyone else & wishing a safe & warm night for all!

MAE ALL...I did have to go out over the weekend a couple of times, man it was cold out there. Our warmer weather is arriving today but I heard that it won't actually appear until after sunset. What's with that! At least I won't wake up to a frozen car.

Lav...thanks for kicking off the thread this week. Sorry to hear about the snow and then turning into icy rain is the worst. Sounds like our arctic deepfreeze has caught up to you. Glad you didn't have to go anywhere today. Not much you can do about Trump, hopefully he won't get too crazy.

Mick...I think that's funny Lav talking about Julie's Dad's grandparents and their empty boxes in the attic. It does sound like you've made a good start at clearing out the house. I also heard people voted for Trump on his promise to get rid of illegal immigrants. All I think is be careful what you wish for.

Sam...we haven't had that much snow here this winter, some are worried about the lack of ground moisture and the upcoming fire season. If we're not freezing we're on fire. It is fun to watch them play football in the snow. Haha

Things are back to normal at work with facility renters figuring all the rules apply to everyone else but them. Registration for kindergarteners opened at the schools last week so the crunch is on for people looking for childcare at the centre. They also figure the rules don't apply to them. At least the day went by fast.

          Have a good night all...PPQP

Hiya all...how are we today? hope all is good..Raining here now .We have the funeral tomorrow...and then we can move on .Listening to Trumps stuff on the television ...he is speaking ...and as he is ..along the bottom of the screen it says ..this speech may contain allegations that are actually questionable or cannot be verified .A very questionable rambling speech.
We go on holiday on Sunday..and to be honest we both need it.apologies for not addressing folk individually ...but tbh ...my head isnt in it .
            take care all

              Greetings friends,

We decided to venture out today. Roads are in good shape, parking lots are iffy of course. Trying like crazy to not be the old lady who falls & fractures a hip, Lol
We needed chicken feed, not something I can create for them though they do appreciate leftovers when I have them. Our backyard weather station read 0 degrees this morning, I’d say that’s cold.

PQ, I am always on YB to throw out or donate things we don’t use so the kids & grandkids are stuck with it after we depart this life. I have a pickup scheduled for next month so I’m getting bags of stuff ready to go. My stomach was in such a knot last night I ended up chewing TUMS before I went to bed last night. That’s just Day 1 of the 4 yr sh*tshow we have to endure. Trump is such an embarrassment, we apologize. He signed 200 executive orders yesterday minutes after being sworn in to office. Hopefully most of them will end up in the trash. Sounds like things are going as usual at work, haha, people never learn how to follow the rules.

Mick,I will be thinking of you & Julie & hope the funeral isn’t too rough. Glad you two have a relaxing vacation afterwards.

Hello to everyone else & wishing warmth to all!

MAE ALL...was in early this morning to meet with the guys swapping out one of the hot water tanks at work so I left a little early today. It is nice not to have to drive in the dark.

Mick...now it's raining? Sheeze. Funeral tomorrow, that didn't take long. You'll be glad to get things done and be on your way. You both deserve a much needed break. Questionable allegations Haha. I would have like to seen that. Maybe they should do that every time he speaks.

Lav...I got rid of a lot of stuff when I left my ex and haven't accumulated much since. He kept a lot of stuff like photo's so I hope he's got them somewhere because I know the kids will like to have them. Oh well, that's his problem. Apology accepted. LOL You're going to have to stop listening to DT's ramblings. What will be will be.

Same old around here, Hope everyone has a good night...PPQP
