Just watched our Eagles football team kick the Washington Commanders butt- Wow, crazy game. I don’t usually sit & watch but there was really nothing else I had to do, LOL
The last of the hanging icicles melted off the pergola roof today, glad to see them go. We get to enjoy temps in the 40’s all this coming week, nice.
not much else happening here, hope everyone is OK.

Ted, enjoy the beautiful warm environment- we are all envious!

Hello again friends,

I took advantage of the sunny day & ran to Walmart, haha such excitement. I am trying to increase my coffee stash ahead of Trump imposing tariffs on imported goods. He’s going to have all of us in the poorhouse quickly if he follows through with his threats. Why did people vote for this?

I see Mick is having a grand old time enjoying some sun & sea air - well deserved!

MAE ALL...we had a gorgeous day 8C/48F with lots of sun. It was a fairly quiet day except the accountant is having an issue adjusting client accounts for subsidy. Boss asked if it was a program or user error. Told him I was still trying to figure out what she's doing. I will watch her apply the subsidies on Feb 1st. On a positive note the childcare director moved back downstairs so I have the office to myself again.

Lav...I will watch hockey but not into football so much. Sad isn't it that our excitement is Walmart! Just went to check messenger for any posts from Mick and things have changed. I can't see the group thread you started. Why can't things just stay the same. Oh...just tried again and it came up.

Mick...wow, what a place. I hope you guys have a great time.

Hey all on the PQ & Lav thread, LOL

PQ you’re having warmer weather than I am, good for you! When I hear what you’re dealing with at work I say a prayer of thanks to be retired. Why can’t anyone just do their own jobs & not have to bug you? Haha! Nothing much happening here so I will continue to dream about my summer gardens. Have to admit I am getting tired of winter.

MAE ALL...the PQL thread...I like that. LOL

Lav...we went to 10C/50F and tomorrow and Thursday will be 12C/54F but the arctic air is heading south starting Friday and the weekend will be -19C/-2F. Watch out it's going to keep heading south. I figured out what the account was doing, Ha! and yes it was a user error. She guesses what the subsidy will be and then forgot to correct it. This was back in Nov. I will now create a procedure for childcare and her to follow. Geeze! It was a busy day, getting ready to open Summer Camp registration. I guess childcare has been inundated with calls asking when they can register. So the day went by fast, always nice.

It’s. Decided - this IS the PQL thread, haha!! Works for me.

We hit 51 degrees today PQ, nice. But the wind is picking up again & rain moving in Friday.temps ar supposed to remain in the 40’s & 50’s for the next week, yay!
Glad you figured out what was going on at work, better you than me.sending you lots of strength. Stay warm in the up coming cold spell, geez.
Nothing new here & that’s OK. Tried out a new recipe today for savory hand pies & they were really good. Not our usual dinner fare but definitely a nice change.

MAE ALL...PQ of the PQL thread here. Haha. Will have to rethink posting here as I can always chat with the group on messenger. Don't feel it's necessary for you to have to post here as well. It was always Mick's goal to keep it going and now his posts are far and few between. Let's think about it.

They're now calling for snow on Friday and extending the deepfreeze into Wednesday. I think that would be a good day to take off. Boss has been booking long weekends off so I should stake my claim sooner rather than later. It takes a while to use up 15 days.

Decided I wasn't waiting for childcare to finish making up their minds about the summer day camp schedule. So I put what I had up on the website, and if they want it changed they better get their act together. There were raised voices from the boss and accountant this morning, I honestly don't know how she thinks. My one-on-one with him is tomorrow. It usually goes me: I got nothing, him: I got nothing, anything I can do to help you?, me: nope, him: all good then. LOL

I too often think of the group. Hope all is doing well. Have a good night....PPQP
