Hi all! I'm new here and WIP replied on another thread and suggested I post in this forum here.. so!!! Hello and Happy Holidays, I made it through the Parties and Dinners out and and Family Celebrations without a drop and I am glad to read you all did too!

I picked an odd time to stop drinking, December 14. I figure if I can make it through the holidays and New Year, the regular days will be easy.

Hey!!! I never noticed because I was always one of them, but people sure look silly when they are drunk huh? :H

Hi everyone. I am a sober Gabby this Christmas Eve and Day. Spent the days unexpectedly alone. The kids went snowboarding. So humm....first ever! Alone durring the holidays.Thought about drinkin several times. But didnt. Felt lonely and a bit depressed. But actually glad to be alone in my house too. Feel happy that I have made it through the holiday without drinkin because I have not felt strong in my resolve to stay af so I must be better off then I think. : )
