Hi, everyone,

it's my first post. Day one. Feel like running away from myself this morning. Opened hubby's bottle of whiskey last night. Wish I hadn't cause now it's open and will call for me. Think i should pour it down the drain and buy another one. I need to stop this madness now. Hate myself for being so weak.

Feel a bit more courageous after reading messages.

:welcome: One time I was on the airplane with a wonderful lady who was also a drinker. (recovering) She told me that early in her sobriety her then husband left a bottle of tequila on the kitchen counter. She called her sponsor and her sponsor said, pour it down the drain and leave cash on the counter so he can replace it. That is what she did.

I just wanted to bump this up to say hi to you guys. The TZ thing sometimes means that those on these threads don't get responded to.

Just know I do read your posts and am very impressed with how you are doing.
