Hello friends and :welcome: back Cindi!! I have been thinking about you and how the rehab was going.

Congrats on 100 sausage and to AFM for getting back into work. I don't know about you, but I found when I wasn't working outside the home as much I felt unproductive and noticed a definate change in attitude when I started working more.

WIP--I joined facebook a couple of weeks ago. I don't spend much time there, but it's been fun keeping up with family and friends again.

Sausage. Congratulations on 100 days. I'm with WIP...replace your apprehension with determination. Apprehension allows for too much wiggle room.

WIP. I've been on facebook for awhile...don't go to it too often though...the novelty of it is wearing off. It is a nice way to keep in touch with those you don't typically see or communicate with.

DG. Have a great hair day.

AA. Yes, we Alkies are thick headed and I might add that we like drama. I think that the flare ups that occur on this site are partly due to the addiction to it. Causing a little trouble or being provacative is like having a fix or a swig of alcohol.

Okey dokey, off to warm some soup up - been to the dentist for my crown!! Had two big appointments the last two weeks and its cost a fortune.

AA I totally agree, a person has to recognize there is a problem, and want to change.
That can be very challenging. Just thinking of my own thick headedness.

Well it is cold, what else is new, and snowing just a little. I so want spring already. I applied for a job that I hope I get because I am tired of sitting around here, and the money woud be nice. Oh well I am going to work on some projects around the house.

Everyone: I'm here late in the day, because I had a lot of b-sitting responsibilities.

First: Congrats, Sausage, on the 100 day mark. That's big in my book...I can't wait to say I've done it.

Second: WIP, I agree w/the apprehension vs. determination idea. There is absolutely no need for me to feel apprehensive. We're having friends in on Fri., & my husb laid in some wine & a bottle of anisette. There's no need for me to feel apprehensive about it, because I AM NOT GOING TO DRINK IT NO MATTER WHAT! My thoughts haven't even turned to it at all. If we have any left over, I'll either give it to the guests to bring home or bring it to daughter & SIL. No need to worry at all.

Third: I feel funny about hearing about arguments here on this site. I haven't seen too many & NEVER on this thread. I think we're all on this thread, because we know that abs is our only choice (30 days, 2009, or a lifetime). I'd feel pretty awful if this forum got sullied w/a lot of in-fighting. Anyhow, I want to tell each & every one of you how appreciative I am that you are all here. I owe my sobriety to you.

Last but not least: Welcome back Cindi! I stayed sober the whole time you were gone. I made that part of my committment. I didn't want to have to tell you that I lapsed. It's been great. I know that you're doing whatever you can. It's good to have you back.

Congrats... wow, 100 days, you can be so proud of yourself. Well everyone - day 1 for me. And I actually feel exited to tackle this beast. WIP, I printed out that post you send me and am carrying it in my bag - you've no idea how much it meant to me and how encouraging I found it. Cindi, all the best. Today I just know that we can beat out AL problem.
