    My Early AA Thoughts

I'm going to a womens AA group tonight. In the past, I just felt more comfortable amongst women. We shall see how it goes. I plan on attending the Sunday open meeting as well. I'm sure??? they don't cancel them for Holidays, do they?

          My Early AA Thoughts

I just got back from a speaker meeting. 2 fantastic speakers. Again, I couldn't totally identify w/their stories, but hearing about their recovery is so invigorating. The guy speaker has been sober 23 years. I've only heard one other person share at a meeting that he started drinking later in life. I really started in my 50's when most people are giving it up. Go figure! Mary

Just met w/my sponsor & went over my progress of my 4th step. I feel like I'm clearing the decks. I like that. Mary
