I've been wondering alot if the thoughts of drinking would pass with time. Looks like the answer to the question is a definitive "No".

Just needed to know that and will have to deal with it.

I have been told that they get further and far between.

I have friends who tell me they go weeks and months without a thought.

There is hope.

I think it is also hard to NOT think about alcohol when you participate on an alcohol recovery site. At least for me it is.

Well, my being on this website all day is because I wanted to stay sober. It is kinda weird, huh?

However, I did stay sober today despite some strong desires to drink.

I get to go to bed with a smile on my face.

Hi all.
I am still in action driving away from drink. I am not on this site all day. I'm finding that I'm working very hard on all sorts of thinking and processing much from my past. It is very hard work but I know this is the right thing for me to do.

My motto.
Drinking puts me into inaction. It is like when I drink I get into a time warp that is not veyr nice at all.

hi all, still here, still sober .... probably my longest stretch in a while. Finding it hard to get on line at the moment as work is incredibly busy. But read when I can, even if it is sometimes a bit rushed. Bless you all!!
